Powerful Beyond Belief

I am powerful beyond belief. I have everything I need. I rarely doubt myself. I have the confidence of a toddler that climbs everything and anything, knowing they’ll be caught if they fall. I was taught that I could, quite literally, do anything I put my mind to. My parents are living proof of this, and my sister and brother are the force of fire around me.

Regardless of the odds stacked against me as a 1st generation, brown Latin female, the odds in my favor have always been more powerful and plentiful. The odds in my favor are made up of the determination, bravery, courage, wisdom, of my ancestors. Made up of the energy of my living communidad — both personal and larger community.

I am powerful beyond belief. I have everything I need.
